I consider myself and observer and writer who enjoys the simplest things in life. Black female graduate of Colorado College. Double major in Feminist and Gender Studies and English. My life motto is to "Just Carpe Diem, you don't know unless you try." I have nothing but opportunities ahead of me. Opportunities to change myself, change the way I see the world, change the struggle. Every day I find something new to fall in love with. It may be a part of myself that I learn to accept and love, or it may be the way a thunderstorm can change your mood and provide the perfect cuddle weather. Love is all around, it just takes time to see it.
All posts are nothing but truth and my way of seeing the way life is. Some posts are deep and some posts are uplifting. Each post is different, just like every pearl is different.
